Step 1: Activation of Robots
Optimize the number of Robots
The first step in performing process automation using Veribot is to activate the robot in the central processor. The central processor interacts with the destination machine where the robot is deployed to gather important statistics about the robots activities. The following steps are required before the robot can start automating the processes
- Activate the robot in central processor
- Configure the robot with a unique key
- Deploy the robot in the destination machine
Step 2: Creation of script
Replicate the process in script
Scripts are the sets of instructions for robots to perform any given tasks. Each process needs to be divided into multiple sets of instructions which can be uniquely represented by any of the Veribot keywords. The keywords are defined in the Veribot application and are the build blocks for creating the scripts. Multiple scripts can be stitched together to complete a process.
- Divide the process into sub steps
- Map the steps against keywords
- Sequence the keywords to create the process
Step 3: Assignment of script
Instruct the robot on the task to perform
The instructions created as part of script needs to be assigned to the robots before they can be executed by the robot. The assignment is done based on the robot ID that is created as part of robot activation process. Multiple scripts can be assigned to a robot and vise versa.
- Identify robot using robot ID
- Assign the script to the robot
Step 4: Execution of script
Command the robot to execute the task
The robot is now ready to execute the tasks which has been assigned to it. Once the robot is commanded to execute the task it retrieves the script and executes the instructions sequentially. The execution of the tasks can also be scheduled. The scheduler triggers the robot to execute the tasks at the scheduled time automatically.
